The Galleon is the name used to describe the "great ship" that carried the 12 tribes from Kobol, starting the Exodus that leads the tribes to form the Twelve Colonies.
According to the Sacred Scrolls, the ship left from Galleon Meadow on Kobol some 2,000 years prior to the events of the Re-imagined Series (Home, Part I).
