Baxter Sarno is a comedian and late night talk show host of Backtalk with Baxter Sarno.

Sarno's major audience consists primarily of teenagers and college students (The Reins of a Waterfall) and he is a staunch critic of the holoband technology and the moral decline he perceives coming from its use. After Amanda Graystone's ill-conceived declaration that Zoe Graystone was one of the bombers of the Maglev commuter train, he makes comical critiques and opines on the Graystones and their brand, in particular the said holoband technology. This forces Daniel Graystone to ultimately appear on the show to shift the blame from the holoband to his daughter.

Sarno is pleasantly surprised when Daniel Graystone (with his wife, Amanda) declares that Graystone Industries will offer open access to the holoband technology and virtual world licensing, in addition to noting that any proceeds from sales of said technology will be donated to a charity fund (Gravedancing).

Other than a scathing joke about his "first and third marriages," his personal life is unknown (Gravedancing).
