Giana O'Neil is a young woman who, after winning a lottery drawing, is rescued from Caprica by Sharon Valerii and Karl Agathon.
Her husband served as a medic in the Colonial Fleet near Gemenon and was presumed dead (Miniseries). She has a daughter from a previous marriage.
Giana becomes a knuckle dragger, or mechanic, on the Galactica in the direct-to-DVD movie, "The Plan". She reunites with her husband, a cylon model number 4. He later commits suicide, when ordered to blow up Galactica by Brother Cavel, believing his love for his wife Giana would outlast his death.
Notes
- Giana is played by actress Lymari Nadal, who is the wife of Edward James Olmos.
