Vireem is a Specialist serving on the battlestar Pegasus, and later on the Galactica. He wears green battle dress fatigues as do all enlisted personnel in the Colonial Fleet.

Gage is happy to finally see some alcohol from the still created by the deck hands on Galactica.

Much to Chief Tyrol's and Helo's discomfort, Gage and a handful of other Pegasus crewmembers describe the gang rapes by the Pegasus crew of a captured copy of Number Six that called herself Gina. These rapes were apparently led and tacitly encouraged by the battlestar's "Cylon interrogator", Lieutanant Alastair Thorne.

Gage mentions that he got in line twice (Pegasus).

In retaliation for Thorne's death, Specialists Vireem and Gage bind and begin beating the incarcerated Helo and Tyrol in the Pegasus brig until Colonel Jack Fisk catches them in the act and dresses them down (Resurrection Ship, Part II).

After the destruction of the Pegasus, Gage joins the crew of the Galactica.

Later, after the discovery of the devastated Earth, he joins Felix Gaeta's mutiny against Admiral Adama (The Oath).
