An unnamed Ha'la'tha soldier is on trial for crimes against Caprica. At the pre-trial hearing, Joseph Adama is able to get his defendant to plead guilty and the judge sets bail at 10,000 cubits, over the objections of the unnamed Caprica prosecutor in the case who believes he is a flight risk.

Sam Adama later provides the money to the elder Adama to cover both the bail and the bribe for this judge ^{(CAP: "Pilot")}, as is common in such cases where Ha'la'tha members are involved ^{(CAP: "Reins of a Waterfall")}.

As is custom with Taurons circa 42YR, this unnamed solider features various tattoos, including ones that are seen on his neck and cheeks ^{(CAP: "Pilot")}.
