He is tasked with bringing Admiral William Adama his coffee in the morning and presumably other meals (A Day in the Life).

Notes

• Jaffee's first name, "Stewart", is not mentioned in the dialogue, but is derived from the end credits of "A Day in the Life".
• On screen Jafee is only referred to as "private" however the insignia he is seen wearing indicates that he is actually a private first class, it's possible that, as is common in some real-world services (although notably, not the U.S. Marine Corps where the full rank is always used even informally), private first class may commonly be shortened to private when used informally.
