As he mops the decks, he can be heard whistling the Colonial anthem (TRS: "Final Cut").

edit source- The familiar tune whistled by Gibson is also known as the main theme of the Original Series.
- Gibson is the patron saint of Battlestar Wiki's administrators.
- The character is not credited in the episode, but Bradley Thompson obtained the character's name from the episode's writer, Mark Verheiden.
- The actor's name was obtained by Joe Beaudoin Jr. via the extras continuity books. Lee Jeffries would later go on to play the character of Paolo "Redwing" McKay.
