Notes

Jaffee's first name, "Stewart", is not mentioned in the dialogue, but is derived from the end credits of "A Day in the Life".
On screen Jafee is only referred to as "private" however the insignia he is seen wearing indicates that he is actually a private first class, it's possible that, as is common in some real-world services (although notably, not the U.S. Marine Corps where the full rank is always used even informally), private first class may commonly be shortened to private when used informally.
