Shannon Adama (a.k.a. Shannon Adams) was the wife of Joseph Adama and mother of Tamara and William Adama. She was an accountant (Hero).
When Joseph was in law school, Adama bought Joseph a cigarette lighter engraved with his name. The lighter was passed on to William, who considers it a good luck charm (The Hand of God).
Fifty-eight years before the Fall, Adama is killed in a terrorist bombing on the Lev that also claims Tamara's life. The bomber is Ben Stark, a member of the Soldiers of the One. Adama is survived by her husband, her son, and her mother Ruth, who lives with the family. She and her husband were both Taurons living on Caprica (Caprica pilot).

Notes
- While Adama's Dossier in "Hero" gives her name as "Evelyn," in the Caprica series the name "Shannon" is used instead. Another possibility is that Evelyn (introduced in Caprica's "The Reins of a Waterfall") is William Adama's stepmother.
