Talk Wireless is a public-access wireless network within the Fleet, broadcasting a range of "current affairs" and other programs, one of which is the political show "The Colonial Gang."

A program on Talk Wireless broadcasts the fact that Gaius Baltar is to become the Quorum of Twelve representative for Caprica. Baltar himself takes a dim view to the medium, calling it an excuse for "low-brow rabble-rousing" (Colonial Day). Other large events broadcast throughout the Fleet include the presidential election and Baltar's trial.

The Fleet News Service likely uses Talk Wireless for its broadcasts.

Note

The term is a parallel of talk radio.
