Nightly Fleetnews is a news broadcast within the Fleet anchored by D'Anna Biers, as part of the Fleet News Service.

Biers uses her influence to record the debut of Tallos, a Centurion amalgamated and reprogrammed by Gaius Baltar and Sharon Valerii (^{(Comics: Battlestar Galactica: Gods & Monsters #1)}). She later tests the assumption that Tallos is loyal to the Cylons by airing a broadcast that features her interviewing Baltar regarding the creation, proving that the Centurion's compliance protocols were disabled (^{(Comics: Battlestar Galactica: Gods & Monsters #2)}).
