Foliole is a brand of cigars of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol prior to 0 ACH (2000BYR).

Kara "Starbuck" Thrace left a wooden box with the Foliole decal in her old apartment on Caprica prior to the Fall of the Twelve Colonies. After returning to Caprica to retrieve the Arrow of Apollo, Thrace returns to her apartment in Delphi and smokes one of these in the company of Karl "Helo" Agathon. She brings the box back to Galactica with various mementos within ^{(TRS: "Valley of Darkness" and "Rapture")}.

Notes

Thrace's Foliole cigar box appears again in the episode "Rapture." Thrace keeps a couple of personal items in it, including a picture of her apartment featuring a painting of a mandala.
The name foliole is a French word, derived from the Latin foliolum, a botany term meaning leaf.
