The Caprican Securities Service is an agency of the Caprican Government tasked with enforcing Caprican securities laws and regulating the securities industry in the Twelve Worlds before the Cylon War. Sometime prior the the year 42, it had investigated the Guatrau's shell company Obolus Inc. for insider trading, but was forced to drop two investigations (CAP: "The Dirteaters").
