Mega is the leader of the Borellian Nomen survivors within the Fleet. He works to maintain contact and unity among the scattered Borellian population as they journey with the Colonial refugees.

The Fleet

Mega serves as the acknowledged leader of the Borellian Nomen community within the Fleet, a position that carries significant responsibility given their small numbers and dispersed locations across different ships. According to Lingk, one of his subordinates, Mega has made systematic efforts to locate and contact all surviving Borellians, believing that "there are so few of us Borellians in the fleet" that comprehensive communication is both possible and necessary.

Under Mega's leadership, the Borellian Nomen have established what appears to be an effective communication network throughout the Fleet. Lingk reports that Mega "was certain we had contacted them all," referring to all Borellian survivors, suggesting that Mega's organizational efforts have been largely successful in creating a registry or census of their people.
