He is a part of Lieutenant Commander Apollo's squadron, being the least among them in terms of combat experience. He replaces Captain Starbuck's position in the squadron after the Battle of Ochoa. He would later be killed in action when the Cylon basestar assaulted the Fleet (RH: Armageddon).
