Terence (TOS-RH)

Terence is an agro-worker aboard Agro-3 and a follower of the Cult of the Serpent in 7360.

History

Following the discovery of an unidentifiable corpse on Agro-3, Colonial Warriors Lieutenant Troy and Ensign Dalton confer with an Agro-3 supervisor, who confirms that Terence was on duty at the estimated time of the murder. With Terence being their only lead in the investigation, the supervisor informs them that Terence was last seen heading to Ursus following the conclusion of his shift.

The Warriors enlist the assistance of Captain Morgan aboard Ursus to help locate Terence. Morgan explains that if Terence came into the Pit—the underbelly of Ursus—and did not return, he either came as a tourist and was murdered, or he is a member of the Cult of the Serpent. Morgan leads Troy and Dalton to the cult's quarters, where their leader Tybalt resides.

Death

When Troy and Dalton ask about Terence's whereabouts, Tybalt claims that Terence is present in the mealprep area. Dalton investigates and discovers Terence's gruesome fate: he has been murdered and decapitated by Tybalt's cultists. His severed head sits inconspicuously on a countertop among storage containers, tilted at an angle that makes the expression on his face almost comical.

The discovery of Terence's body triggers a violent confrontation between the Warriors and the cultists. During the subsequent battle, Troy reveals that Tybalt has "slaughtered our only witness to the murder on Agro-3," confirming that Terence's death was motivated by silencing him and preventing the investigation from exposing Count Iblis's murder of Ambassador Puck and his subsequent impersonation.
