Teal is a proctor aboard Galactica in 7360. Of Gemon descent, she is described as being tall woman.

Following Adama's passing, President Tigh visits the Children's Center to observe the children. On duty at the time, Teal shares that Adama did much the same: "He always said that the children reminded him of his mission. Kept him going. He never stayed long, just watching them play for a few minutes (sic)." While Tigh was already aware of this fact, he asks Teal for permission to do the same, to which she agrees (RH: Armageddon).
