Janus is a Colonial Warrior serving aboard the battlestar Galactica.

Janus is part of a Viper patrol in an unknown region of space when he, along with Sheba and Boomer, goes missing in action.

This prompts Starbuck to investigate in Recon Viper Three, leading to his being shot down for a crash-landing on an unnamed planet. In doing so, Starbuck ultimately reveals to the Fleet that Boomer had been captured by the Cylons was subjected to a cybernetic conversion process to turn him into a new form of Cylon Centurion. Following his and a Cylon-ized Boomer's return to Galactica, it is implied that Janus and the other missing pilots have suffered the same fate ((ComicsMasquerade)).[1]
