Ila was Adama's only wife, and mother to Apollo, Athena, and Zac.

While Ila's body isn't found in the ruins of Adama's home, Adama feels sure that she was in the home when she died. All that Commander Adama finds of his wife in the bombed-out remains of his Caprican home is a picture of her, along with pictures of their children (Saga of a Star World).

Not much is known about her, except that during their marriage Adama used to irritate her when he bent tableware telekinetically during his evaluation by the Colonial Military Institute (War of the Gods, Part II).
