Dmitri is an alias used by Chameleon in order to swindle three Borellian Nomen, Taba, Bora and Maga, out of money. According to the Nomen, "Dmitri" told them that he was the commanding officer of a livestock ship and could help them gain parts to a spacecraft. After finding that they had been swindled, the Nomen swear a blood hunt on "the jackal, Captain Dmitri" and pursue "Dmitri" to the Rising Star, apparently unaware of his true identity (TOS: "The Man with Nine Lives").
Notes
- It is unknown whether or not Dmitri actually exists, though it is logical to assume that Dmitri is a real person and that Chameleon used the captain's name in order to have an identity under which he conducted his clandestine business dealings.
