Captain Patroclus is Scorpius Ascendant's commanding officer in 7360[1].
A pro-Ambassador Puck seditionist, he lead the charge in seceding from the Fleet, with the decree that they would accept Quorum of Twelve's rule upon Puck's ascension to Fleet Commander[1][2].
This decision is mainly symbolic as Ascendant still travels alongside the Fleet[3], until Lieutenant Commander Athena declares that Patroclus and his crew either pledge fealty to the Quorum, or take one of two choices: exile from the Fleet, or obliteration along with their vessel[4].
After the deception of "Puck" is revealed to all, Patroclus' and Ascendant's crew rejoin the Fleet[5] (RH: Armageddon).
Notes
- In Greek mythology, Patroclus was one of Achilles' close wartime companions during the Trojan War.
