Giles is a friendly, short, but easy to anger Viper pilot who is infected with the mysterious virus brought back by Lieutenant Boomer and Flight Sergeant Jolly (Lost Planet of the Gods). He is fond of alcoholic beverages and gambling, like Lieutenant Starbuck (The Lost Warrior). When Cadet Cree is deemed MIA, Giles is sent to pack his items, however Lieutenant Starbuck forcibly manages to convince Giles to not pack Cree's personal effects (Gun on Ice Planet Zero).
Notes
- Manetti went on to do Magnum, P.I as Orville "Rick" Wright and The Duke as Joe Cadillac.
- Giles was apparently intended as a recurring role.[citation needed]
