An impulsive, Borellian Nomen youth, Taba almost destroyed the Nomen's hunt for the "jackal, Captain Dmitri". He was first forgiven by his elder, Maga, and excused the Nomen's actions as the result of excitement and drink. However, when Taba commented that the Warriors were insulting him, Maga had him disowned and would exact extreme punishment that apparently had a low survival rate (The Man with Nine Lives).
Taba wasn't apparently stricken from the Roster of the Nomen, due to Maga's inability to contact other Nomen.
Taba rejoined with Maga, suggesting that they either accepted him fully or in some form as to prove himself, and evidently did so. He escaped with his brethren and Eastern Alliance forces (Baltar's Escape).
Portrayed by Anthony de Longis
Notes
In a scene that found itself on the cutting room floor from "Baltar's Escape", Taba promised never to fail his elder again and redeemed himself.
Anthony De Longis would later become a recurring character on Star Trek: Voyager portraying First Maje Culluh.
