An oracle is a spiritual advisor with prophetic insight on the directions or motivations of the Lords of Kobol and the descendants of the Thirteen Tribes who inhabited the Twelve Colonies of Kobol.
There is no information on how oracles are created or selected for their work.
Oracles use chamalla to aid in their prophetic insights. The oracles seen so far seem to be either reclusive or left to their own spaces because of their unusual gifts and their effect on others.
Pythia, an oracle that lived 3,600 years before the Fall of the Twelve Colonies, gave a dark prediction into the cyclical fate of humanity. Her book in the Sacred Scrolls is often cited by many followers.
