Aphrodite is one of the Lords of Kobol worshiped by Colonials, linked to acts of love and procreation.
In 58 BCH (42YR), Daniel Graystone uses the expression "Sweet Aphrodite" when lambasting Philomon over his fawning of the U-87 Cyber Combat Unit prototype (CAP: "End of Line").
Around 1 ACH (2000BYR), Kara "Starbuck" Thrace has two figurines in her locker that she uses in prayer, one of them depicting Aphrodite (TRS: "Flesh and Bone").
Following the settlement of New Caprica circa 2 ACH (2001BYR), Nora prays to Aphrodite so that she and Tucker "Duck" Clellan may have a child (TRS: "The Resistance, Episode 3").
