The Caprican Art Museum is a museum located within Caprica City on Caprica before the Fall of the Twelve Colonies.
In the year 42, the Caprican Art Museum holds an exhibit of artifacts from Kobol called "Art Treasures of Kobol". The exhibit is sponsored by Graystone Industries and attended by many of the company's board members, as well as Daniel and Amanda Graystone, and Graystone's corporate competitor, Tomas Vergis of Tauron's Vergis Corporation (CAP: "Know Thy Enemy").
Notes
- The scenes taking place at the Caprican Museum of Art were filmed at the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia and featured many of its existing exhibits, including The Raven and the First Men by Bill Reid - which is depicted on the Canadian twenty-dollar bill. [1]
- The Art Treasures of Kobol pamphlet - created by the Caprica art department - dates three artifacts at "Circa 400 byr," likely intended to be 400 years before the current era, which began 1,942 years ago with the exodus from Kobol. The exhibit was dated to run from "IUNIUS 15 THROUGH QUINTILIS 25". (Propworx).
