"Red-Eye" was the name given to the only surviving Centurion that crash-landed on planet Equellus in a raider. Lacerta, the local law-detracting riffraff, used the Centurion -- who believed that Lacerta was his "Imperious Leader" -- to terrorize the local town's people for nine yahren.
Red-Eye obtained a laser pistol from Puppis' father, a marooned Colonial Warrior known as Martin, when he first saw the Cylon. Martin's death resulted in the encounter, as did the subsequent reign of terror and deaths during the many yahren. Attempts to destroy Red-Eye ensued, however the Cylon could take projectile weaponry with his armor. (As all Cylons undoubtedly can.)
Red-Eye also appropriated "tribute" (i.e., livestock, food, valuables) from the townspeople in exchange for their lives. This unbalance was upset by Apollo after his forced landing on the planet, who destroyed the Cylon only after it had killed Bootes, ending Lacerta's hold on the town sometime later.
In total, 10 people died at Red-Eye's hand. (The Lost Warrior (TOS))
Portrayed by Rex Cutter
Notes
It is unknown what weapon, if any, was used by "Red-Eye" to kill Martin.
Rex Cutter also portrayed a Cylon Centurion in the Galactica 1980 episode "The Return of Starbuck".
