An oracle is a spiritual advisor with prophetic insight on the directions or motivations of the Lords of Kobol.
There is no information on how oracles are created or selected for their work as of the end of season 2 of the Re-imagined Series.
Pythia was a popular oracle who gave a dark prediction into the cyclical fate of humanity.
