Galactica's version of Jack McCoy.

Biography

Chief Opposer Sire Solon is, in essence, a prosecuting attorney; conjecturally aged in his 50s.

Solon is the Fleet's prosecuting opposition who attempts to confirm Starbuck's guilt in the termination of the widely disliked Flight Sergeant Ortega. He seems quite certain that Starbuck is guilty, as everything appears to add up. With Cassiopeia -- at different times than one another -- both attempt to get Starbuck to plead that Ortega's death was the result of self-defense, given that Ortega's laser was drawn. However, Starbuck chooses not to accept, as a life-sentence and being unable to serve the military amount to the same thing to him.

The overheard testimony about the crime by Karibdis (alias Pallon) proves Starbuck's innocence in the matter; Solon takes it professionally, at any rate (Murder on the Rising Star).

Portrayed by Brock Peters
