Doyle is a survivor of the Eastern Alliance's devastating attack on the inhabited cities of Paradeen who worked for the Morelands as a hired hand. He was one of the first to come across the Vipers as well as the Terran spacecraft.
Before working for the Morelands, he worked as a custodian to the maze-like underground system of Paradeen's main city, and was essential in finding Starbuck quickly before he expired from the fumes and low oxygen. (Greetings from Earth)
