A fumarello is a fairly large cigar, similar to a parejo.
It is made from a plant, as Cassiopeia notes during her question of "Do you ever take that smoldering weed out of your mouth?" (TOS: "Saga of a Star World")
Typically seen near or in Starbuck's mouth, much to the dismay of the Cylons and their chest armor (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part II").

Notes
edit- In the Re-imagined Series, cigars are not referred to with a special name, but it is noted that they are made of a plant product called fumarella leaf (TRS: "Water"). Brand names for these are Foliole and Caprican Imperial.
