The Armistice Station is a remote space station, built with the intent of allowing both Cylon and the Twelve Colonies to maintain diplomatic relations after the Cylon War.
Annually, the station is manned by an Armistice Officer, who happens to be Boxey's father.
A few items of interest are visible on the officer's negotiation desk in the center room of the Armistice Station:
- A photograph of Boxey
- A photograph, presumably the Armistice Officer's wife and Boxey's mother
- A document detailing the Cylon Centurian Model 0005 (sic)
- A copy of the Cimtar Peace Accord
The Cylons ignored the overtures of diplomacy for 40 years. In their only visit, the Cylons destroy the station as the opening salvo of the Fall of the Twelve Colonies.
The Armistice Station section of the Miniseries article discusses this peculiar circumstance.
