Ozar is the commander of the Colonial stealth battlestar Osiris in the tenth year of the Cylon War.
She is among those Colonial officers operating within the "Ghost Fleet" hidden in Cylon territory and accepts Ensign William Adama's offer to transport Doctor Becca Kelly to the ice planet Djerba in what is potentially a one-way mission. As part of providing cover to Adama and Kelly aboard the Raptor Wild Weasel, Ozar jumps Osiris within DRADIS range of a Cylon basestar, launches Vipers, and engages the enemy.
Ozar orders Osiris put into a collision course with the basestar after the Cylons successfully disable the Colonial vessel's nukes. Surviving the initial impact with the basestar, Ozar manually detonates the nukes and is killed when Osiris is lost with all hands (Blood and Chrome).
