"Hex" is the callsign of a Galactica Viper pilot assigned to the Primus squadron. He is assigned to Viper 6231NC.

The character is first mentioned by Anastasia Dualla in "Maelstrom" as being dispatched alongside Brendan Costanza as backup for Captain Kara "Starbuck" Thrace and Major Lee "Apollo" Adama as they chase a Cylon Heavy Raider, which Thrace claims to see, through the atmosphere of a gas giant. Hex is mentioned again in "The Son Also Rises".
