Laura Roslin's father was survived by his wife, with whom he had three daughters: Laura, Cheryl and Sandra.

After his wife's death by cancer, he and and two daughters (Cheryl and Sandra) were killed in a car accident the night following the end of Sandra's baby shower by an intoxicated driver, leaving Laura Roslin the sole surviving member of her family (TRS: "Daybreak, Part I").
