Jake is a dog on New Caprica that has a yellow bowl. The bowl serves as an indicator flag for a dead drop. When this bowl is flipped over, the inside source within the Baltar administration notifies the New Caprica Resistance of important information to be used to aid the group (Occupation).
Jake is also known to a copy of Number Three, who is pleased with the fact that Jake doesn't care who is human and who is Cylon (Exodus, Part I).
Notes
- Jake is not the only living animal from the Colonies ever seen in the Re-imagined Series to date. Rats and bats, both rodents, were seen on Caprica. For more on other life forms mentioned in the series, see Life Forms of the Twelve Colonies.
