Duncan "Deckhand Dunk" Rafferty served on Brenik with Saul Tigh during the second year of the Cylon War circa 56 BCH (44YR).
According to the story Tigh tells to William Adama during their time aboard Sedulana merchant marine freighter, a boarding action by Cylon Centurions lead to Tigh finding Rafferty dead in a corridor, "his ribs split open like a pig, his guts strewn about on the floor" (TRS: "Valley of Darkness" deleted scene).
