Marta Shaw is the well-known Quorum delegate from Caprica.

Shaw is the mother of Kendra Shaw, an ambitious officer in the Colonial Fleet. However, Shaw does not live to see her daughter assume her post on Pegasus as Admiral Helena Cain's aide, as she succumbs to a cancer (Razor).
