Philomon is a technician who works for Graystone Industries. He is fascinated by the U-87, correctly ascribing a female aspect to the robot, and treating it with more courtesy, kindness, and compassion than his fellow technicians—notably Drew (Rebirth).

• Although referred to at one point and listed in the credits as simply as Philo, Daniel Graystone can be heard referring to him as Philomon. Presumably, Philo is short form of the name.
