Ditko is a Colonial Marine serving aboard Galactica circa 1 ACH (2000BYR) through 4 ACH (2003BYR).

Ditko participated in the Rescue on Caprica to recover the survivors of the Caprica Resistance, including Samuel Anders (TRS: "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part I" and "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II").

Following the Second Exodus circa 3 ACH (2002BYR), he is part of the Marine ground team to guard operations on the algae planet and defends the human position there against a Cylon attack (TRS: "The Eye of Jupiter"). He earlier appears ringside during the boxing bout between Galen Tyrol and William Adama (TRS: "Unfinished Business").

Circa 4 ACH (2003BYR), he serves as Laura Roslin's escort aboard Galactica during her Doloxan treatments (TRS: "Faith") and part of her security force during her appearance before the Quorum of Twelve (TRS: "Guess What's Coming to Dinner?").

Ditko volunteers for the Battle of the Colony, and his fate remains unknown after that encounter (TRS: "Daybreak, Part I" and "Daybreak, Part II").
