The Heraclitus or Heracs were a military force employed by the government of Tauron to combat the uprising of poorly armed native rebel forces known as the Ha'la'tha (CAP: "The Dirteaters").
Referring to members of the Tauron resistance as "dirteaters", the Heracs employed brutal tactics including torture and murder to combat the Ha'la'tha resistance. In the aftermath of the uprising, the victorious Heraclitus forces attempted a genocide against their opponents, creating murder squads that resulted in huge numbers of deaths as well as the emigration of Taurons to other colonies (CAP: "The Dirteaters").
Lieutenant Kolibri was a member of the Heraclitus (CAP: "The Dirteaters").
