The Heracleides or Heracs are a military force employed by the government of Tauron to combat the uprising of poorly armed native rebel forces known as the Ha'la'tha during the Tauron Civil War (CAP: "The Dirteaters").
Referring to members of the Tauron resistance as "dirteaters", the Heracs employ brutal tactics including torture and murder to combat the Ha'la'tha resistance. In the aftermath of the uprising, the victorious Heracleides forces attempt a genocide against their opponents, creating murder squads that result in huge numbers of deaths as well as the mass emigration of the native Taurons to other colonies in the Twelve Worlds (CAP: "The Dirteaters").
Lieutenant Kolibri was a member of the Heracleides (CAP: "The Dirteaters").
