Hamish "Skulls" McCall is a Raptor pilot assigned to Galactica.
He serves as Racetrack's co-pilot during the rescue mission for the Caprica resistance. When their Raptor misses their jump, they discover a habitable planet which is later dubbed New Caprica. McCall and Edmondson are then commended for the accidental discovery (Lay Down Your Burdens, Part I).
Over a year later, during the planet's occupation by the Cylons, Skulls is Racetrack's ECO during their missions to detect communications from the resistance movement on New Caprica, in which they are eventually successful (Occupation).
