Catbird is the callsign of a Viper pilot assigned to the battlestar Pegasus.
Catbird leads Green Squadron in defense of Pegasus after she is ambushed by three Cylon basestars during a haphazardly conceived rescue mission performed against Admiral Adama's orders by Pegasus commander Barry Garner (The Captain's Hand).
The fate of Catbird after the attack is unknown.
Notes
- A catbird is a bird of the family Ptilonorhynchidae or Mimidae.
- "The catbird seat" is an idiomatic phrase used to describe an enviable position, often one of great advantage.
