Hoshi is an officer onboard the battlestar Pegasus serving in CIC.

His duties aboard the Pegasus appear to mirror those of Petty Officer Anastasia Dualla on Galactica (The Captain's Hand).

Hoshi means "star" in Japanese.
Hoshi first appears briefly, showing reaction to Admiral Cain's order to launch Vipers against battlestar Galactica, in Pegasus.
