Leeson is a Colonial crew member on battlestar Galactica.
Admiral Adama, as part of a memory exercise where he attempts to remember the names of each crew member as a courtesy and to boister morale[1], repeats to himself that "Leeson takes first watch."
By noting Leeson's watch duty, the crew member could be one of the marines assigned as Adama's constant guard and escort, or part of one of the rotating shifts in CIC (A Day In The Life).
