Sheppard is a pilot who was assigned to Galactica.

Sheppard was killed sometime prior to the destruction of Scar and mentioned by Captain Thrace during a tribute to their dead Galactica pilots (Scar).

Notes

It is possible that this callsign is a tribute to Alan Shepard, the first American astronaut in space.
