Suspicions on the part of the Caprican military that the MCP was stolen, increasing doubts over Graystone's ability to meet its deadline for producing the prototype, and the violent escape of the U-87 lead to the military offering the Vergis Corporation the contract for producing Cylons (CAP: "End of Line").
