Amanda Graystone was a succesful Caprican surgeon married to Daniel Graystone, computer engineer that created the Cylons. She was the mother of Zoe Graystone.

After Zoe's death in a suicide bombing, Amanda turns for consolation to her ex-lover, Tomas Vergis, a Tauron and one of Daniel's competitors.
