Daniel Graystone was a brilliant and wealthy Caprican computer engineer that created the Cylons.

Daniel was married to Amanda and the father of Zoe, who was killed in a suicide bombing. After learining that his daughter uploaded her personality into an online avatar before her death, Daniel tries to recreate Zoe as a robot, thus creating the first Cylon[1].
